Default Wow, what a day

Just got home from the first annual Goldendale WA. Scale Event and what a day I had. None stop flying, both with wheels and floats, jets, and Warbirds galore, topped of by the raffle of all raffles. ( I won a plane...) Thanks to the group that put it all together and to mother nature for a wonderful day weather wise. I am already putting on next years calender. Dave

I could never fly there, the runway is too short and way too many trees. LOL glad you had a great time.

Thanks for the footage! I have to say that is a nice field with some of the worst landing attempts I've seen ! [
]Except for the full scale!

For landing on a runway that is 2000 ft long, there were alot of sloppy landings. I am personally used to 320 ft, so 2000 scared me. Dave

How in the world does a guy completely dork the landing on his jet and get a round of applause and a "good job"?

With 2000' of runway, why did the guy flying the "giant" chipmunk need someone to hold the tail of his plane while he spooled it up for takeoff?
