Dropshippers
We've seen lots of comments on a few of the hobby shops that have not so good reputations (to put itmildly). But I haven't seen anything yet about dropshippers in general. Anyone else agree with me that especially in an area that often requires a lot of help and knowledge, dropshippers screw everything up for legitimate stores? I just looked for stores near me and found basically one! Everything else was a dropshipper. And the closest "store" sold a whole bunch of junk not even closely related to RC.
I know it's "buyer beware" but you would think that someone accepting these people as "stores" would at least take a quick look at the website.

And yes, the game changed, that's why hobby shops have gone under (notice the past tense),, sad but it's the reality

Amazon.com is the biggest drop-shipper out there.. it's not the industry model, it's the seller to be cautious of. There are good ones and bad ones.

RE: Dropshippers
There are so many drop shippers out there. If I don't see a physical address or a phone number on their website, I just move on. Nothing worse than sending your hard earned money, getting nothing and then not having someone to talk to about it.
There was a drop shipper in Russia that took a lot of people's money, never shipped anything and then they were gone. Everyone that place an order for their rediculously low prices lost out.
There were some posts about it here on RCU.
