Something to try: Go to the main forum page, you will see either a green check mark or "minus" sign on the various forums. Clicking the minus sign removes your subscription.... and will hopefully stop these notifications.... hopefully.

Additionally, go to "Settings" (in between My Profile and Logout on my screen)
It listed various forums I was subscribed to (even though I thought I unchecked them). Click the "minus" sign to unsubscribe.
Then, go to General Settings > Default Thread Subscription and set your preferences accordingly. Be sure to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks MHawker. I just unsubscribed to all the forums. Hopefully this will work. Perhaps being subscribed to a thread within a forum created a forum subscription, as a bug, when the new website was created?

Same here. Receiving thread updates that I'm not subscribed to.Tried to unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the email, says it's an invalid thread. I'm not subscribed to any threads.
RCU is coming close to be added to my spam folder.

Tried clicking the minus sign in the forums list. Nice that the page has to refresh each time. What a mess!!! I feel sorry for the people that don't get to check email until they get home at night. I was "subscribed" to almost everything. The volume of email was unbelievable! I was only actually subscribed to a small number of threads. Bet the server at RCU is backed up trying to send all this crap and we will be getting these for a while.
