Default Resale Value

Is there a standard depreciation on used RC related items? I have sold and purchased used merchandize related to this hobby at what I consider a fair market value and just wonder how others price theirs.

You hit it on the head. If its got a good price for you.
Me I sell at 50% of new if it has any kind of age.

When I have something that someone wants, I say, "make me an offer." And they do. If I thinks it's too low an offer, I just raise it until we both reach an agreement. If I have something to sell, I will just write on it, "Make offer". And we will either strike a deal or not.

The value of an item is only what someone is willing to pay.

As stated, most of this "stuff" holds about a 50% value of new. Some things like collectable engines, out of production kits are an exception. Built/flown planes have the lowest value and sometimes/usually it's better to part them out rather than sell them as a whole.
Ask what you think you would be happy with and if it doesn't sell then you are asking too much !
