Foam for Foamies - a current post
My 6 year old just got into RC planes. He loves building and I thought that a home-built foamie would be great. I just don't know where to get reasonable foam since Lowes and Home Depot don't carry fanfold (bluecor or Foamular) and would like to know if there is a replacement. I saw that Lowes has Pactive but it is perforated and doesn't seem like it would work. I don't want to spend time ripping paper off of foam board, and don't want to buy dupron for him to experiment with. (I did a search and didn't find anything current)
Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you,

My Feedback: (1)
here is a current one... http://www.rcfoam.com/ I ordered from them just last week.
and here's what my local Home D carries... it's perfect for flat foamies...

anything 1/4 or thinner works great, no worries about if it's perforated or not...
hope that helps!

The dollar store foam is $1.00 a sheet and the paper comes off very easily. I just soak the paper, let dry, peel. Comes off in one piece, I save the paper to draw on.
