    Flying in the snow!!

Wanted to create a thread for discussion of snow flying. I was flying in the South Bronx (NY) on Saturday in fresh snow - was great! Cold (8 deg F) but only 5mph, so not too bad. Almost lost a ski on one flight, but managed to land it and tighten it back on. Thank goodness for my Raydiowarm, otherwise would NOT be able to fly in freezing temps like this.

Anyone got any good snow flying stories?

We were flying on the frost last weekend. Had snow a couple weeks back followed by a deep freeze. We found out the frozen clumps of grass are hard......Don't ask.....Good Luck, Dave
