Default TF Monokote introducing new products-

One new color: pale green, and two new flats: a WWI lozenge pattern and blue mist!

We checked with the Top-Flite MonoKote product manager. This information is not correct. Sorry.

That's too bad as Monokote is a favorite for heat shrink films. I vaguely remember the color salmon; was it in low demand? Were there ever any other colors available than those available today?

The range of colors available for Super MonoKote is as large as it's ever been. there are 59 color variations available, more than any other covering product.

Very disappointed to find Tower Hobbies showing stock status for Forest Green Monokote not as Temporarily Unavailable, or Order Pending, or On Order, or Back Ordered but as Discontinued. Really?

Is the demand for this color low?

Blue Mist Monokote as seen on the fuselage on the profile Pfalz D XII bipe is showing stock status as Order Pending; what does that mean?

I was desperately trying to find Monokote Pearl Copper recently. Tower didn't even list it. Is it gone?

Maybe the tree huggers convinced TF that too many forests were being decimated for it.

More likely, because of financial trouble, Tower cannot afford to stock products that are not top sellers. We can purchase directly from Top Flight. www.top-flite.com but they seem to be out of stock too.

Edit: Is Top-Flite now owned by Horizon Hobby? That may be a good sign for their future.

Yes, they are. With HH's emphasis on ARF's, I'm concerned for the future of Top Flite's kits. Although maybe HH see this as an opportunity to gain a market share (kit builders) they didn't have before. It's going to be interesting to see how all this plays out.
