I Am Sick!
........OF THIS WEATHER! Now I know you folks up North have it worse than we do. We have lived in Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and Denver, so I have paid my cold dues, but this winter has been a real pain. My winter projects look as if they will carry over into late Spring or early Summer. The small space heater I can usually use to heat my workbench area is useless in this continuing cold, and I am dying to get out to the field. Bring on Spring.......NOW!

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gas overhead furnace for the chilly days and A/C for those hot humid times. A mill, a lathe, 3 building tables lots of projects and a wife who sometimes brings me dinner in the garage, sits and eats with me and watches some tv with me. Good tunes and a nice sound system. Life is good no mater what the season. EH!!!!!!!

Last June it was to hot and humid to be flying so crank up the A/C and make a 1/2 inch stand off that matches the rear of the engine mount. Don't like posts for engine stand offs. First video cutting the relief inside then the second video cutting it free from the stock.

Usually we get stretches of great weather in the winter. These are the times that I use to build or fly. This year, however, it just won't stay warm enough. I also ride and my motorcycle hasn't even been out yet. YUCK!

Loved the video and the AN225 photos... and AMA, it brings me back to our time in Minnesota. We lived in Savage just west of Burnsville and there would still be snow outside of our front window in May. It faced north, but still. Just remember, if you live in Savage, you have Savage Police, Savage Barbers, and Savage conditions to deal with.....

Perhaps it is time to utilize an underdeveloped skill, such as (dare I say? ) laying off the ARFs and build a kit! I'm putting together a kit now, a 46" (1,168mm) wingspan 1959 Berkeley Impulse single channel pylon racer. With all the rough edges, you haven't lived until you've built a Berkeley! Building a Berkeley will make a man out of you, LOL.

Rain and Snow - but........... 1,500 sq/ft of work space, heated, ventilated spray booth, awwwwwwwwwww.
I actually flew last week - 61 degrees in Utah in February!!!
I want to thank all of you in the Midwest, OK - MN, IL, KS, NJ, NY, OH, etc..................... for taking all the cold air and snow!!
However, come summer would you please send us some drinking water!! I will probably get a little thirsty come July!!

Love the plow. Add chains and you have a monster for deep snow! And with the camera, you can do the whole neighborhood while enjoying hot chocolate at home.... Or something stronger.

It will be over soon! It's almost March. Our weather here has looked like this since about October.

Nice flying- It looked like you almost hit that white post.......
The area is beautiful - are those rice paddies with all the water? You need to add floats to the J3.
