Was this a 2nd TX you ordered or a free replacement for the 1st one?

I never ordered two of them and I never heard back from them after jumping thru the hoops with taking pictures and weighing the complete shipment and sending them the information on the transmitter that was shipped with no battery

Received my order mentioned in post #145 in three days from shipment, eight days from placing order.

All parts and lipos were perfectly packed, everything there from a multiple parts order.

Thanks Hobby King, good job!

I think I understand your question Jerry, yet I feel confident that most men are unwilling or unable to answer what they feel, and usually respond with thoughts.Sadly sometimes based on feelings.
Just the way most Martians are wired perhaps.

Myself, being one of many.

Jerry-what can I say -It has rained all day and waiting for the Big Brown Truck with my new radio -I ran out of epoxy(it is more fun watching it cure than debating the SHILL crowd here on RCU).

The gathering of the Big Birds at Bomber is going to be messy-it started today and there was six pilots and water standing. But that is all that is going on here-I hope it clears soon and I get more epoxy!

Keep the faith Jim, I also had a 'bad day' when after driving 15 hours to get to the Denver area, we were greeted with snow and rain.......but that was on Thursday and Friday....look what Saturday and Sunday brought!

Damn that Hobby King! You just can't trust them....they sent me exactly what I ordered, delivered in two weeks from China, for about half what it would have cost in the US. They sure do suck

Looks like fun, although not my preference.

I recall good ol' Nippon Dave from Aircraft World. Dirt cheap shipping and parts usually arrived in about 5 calender days to the US from Japan.
Always received at least what I ordered and fully paid for.

I ordered 3 LiFe batteries in March from HK. Well after more emails than I can track and an abundance of frustration for me. Guess What??

They arrived this week. It only took 6 months. With that kind of efficiency and customer service I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HK AGAIN!!!! NOT EVER !

They can keep there low prices and poor customer service. I will only buy from vendors who value their customers and provide the service we deserve .

Did you order those batteries from the US warehouse? If you ordered them from China then a 6 mo delivery might not be out of the ordinary. Any type of Li batteries have to go by surface transport....i.e., slow boat from China. Then after getting to port they have to go thru customs...another indefinite period of time.

It's pretty rare for an order to take 6 months to make it, even with the Lipo issues they had. Most orders are delivered with no issues. There is usually more to the story, but at this point it's irrelevant. Try these vendors for batteries, all ship from the US, usually within 24-28 hours, and have prices that are hard to beat:

It's great to have competition.

I have never had any issues getting my orders from HK and they always arrived much quicker than I expected. I only had a bad pump or something in one order that cost around six dollars.

I was speaking with a guy yesterday that made a couple orders from them and never received anything. I asked him did he pursue it and he said he wasn't going to as it was simply not worth the effort. He said you cannot call them or really get them to reply as he did try that. He said that he just won't ever order from them ever again.

Oh, he said he ordered from US warehouse too. HK orders must be a risk like Russian Roulette. You hope you are never the one that gets stuck not getting your orders and when that occurs most end their purchasing relationship with HK. I wonder what percentage of people have stopped buying from them?

I can't imagine someone not getting their stuff, and then not doing anything about it. Doesn't make any sense. A simple call to the CC company, or PP, and the problem is taken care of. Can't get easier than that.

Haven't heard about the US warehouse having that kind of problem, but all vendors have issues from one time or another. I would guess the overwhelming amount of orders from HK go without a hitch. I'm sure some people stop using them, but I doubt many.

That is...wrong! HK has a "live chat" capability that allows you to converse directly with a customer service rep. It is available 24/7 and I've always gotten a quick answer to any question or problem.

That is not true radforc-I tried numerous times and finally got in and got a template answer that did not make sense to the question and would get back via email-it never happen after six dozen attempts to get thru Live Chat-what a joke !!!

One would think after 20, 30, perhaps at best 50 attempts.....one would think hey....perhaps I'll try something new. But 72 times?

Is this a complete exageration, or did you actually try to do the same thing 72 times before realizing something wasn't working?

It would have taken one simple e-mail to Paypal to resolve the matter. Maybe two.
