Thank you ama! Such fine work!
TO:
ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS ON PAGE 141 MODEL AVIATION, OCTOBER 2014 ISSUE:.
"You advertise on the top of that page that the Academy makes no errors and all is as submitted by the candidate ! " "
Previous posting except other than above has been eliminated. AMA cannot change the previous misstatement as in the magazine. They have changed other statements and apologized for the error. All water over the dam now.
This past weekend I had some very good talks with some of the AMA staff at the Seguin (near San Antonio) at the TRI-CITY FLYERS annual District 8 Celebration of Flight Memorial. I had the opportunity to converse with a number of old friends, AMA people, and a number of folks that I never knew. Very enjoyable.
TRI-CITY really knows how to set up for a super-bash. Mostly BIG BIRD flying but all types were allowed. In addition some CL was zooming around most of the days. I do suggest that you place this one on your next Sep/Oct (whichever is happening) and make this one. I certainly will. You will never forget Mr. Dicky Rich and folks with that Super Machine he has designed and builds for the art of barbecue.
Don't miss it.
Now if I should get elected as AMA Ex. VP, then I will get to visit a lot of events and help campaign for YOU!
