Scammer alert.......John Grant, Keith Harper, or any of a hundred alias
Just to let all RCU members know there's a scammer going by the name of John Grant or Keith Harper, or perhaps one of a hundred other alias', that's trying to buy items using the old, "I'll send you a bank check and in a couple of days have someone come by to pick up the item," scam.

Oh and BTW RCU I don't appreciate your censorship efforts when it comes to other sites, especially when there are important matters that the entire RC community should know about.....put your big boy pants on and grow a pair why don't you.
Now I agree that is has been quite a bit of time since that has happened and maybe it's time to rethink this decision. I will take this up with those above me and what they think and we'll see about removing the filter for this site you mention.

There is way more that is going on here than "censorship", and it's definitely more than us having to put on our "big boy pants". If you notice we allow links to a large amount of other online sites such as RCGroups.com and others. The reason that they one you are complaining about is being blocked is totally there own doing. Years ago they decided that they were going to try and promote their site and they mobilized their membership to come to RCU in order spam our forums with tons of posts promoting that site. At first we kindly asked them to stop this spamming of our side, but when that didn't word we had to add the site address to our language filters in order to stop the spamming. We gave the other site ample opportunity to stop what they were doing and they choose to not to do this. So please take in account the background of the situation before accusing of censoring out other sites, which is something that we don't do without a justification.

Easy to handle, my standard reply; "Your agent can P/U the item once your form of payment clears the issuing financial institution." They usually never reply back.
