Exactly. In ten years time I probably won't be so mobile.

The scenery in New Zealand looks great, and my great grandmother was born there, it might be nice to have a look at the place while I still can.

Oh and by the way Flyer, I do not consider myself to be a "great builder." All of my models have minor faults and some of them are over-weight. They all fly mind!

There you go letting the cat out of the bag, you can't tell that by looking at a picture. The "Great Builders" part it to fool the youngsters that pass through!

I'll say this for the French, they don't just complain and put up with higher prices and lower wages, once they've been pushed far enough, they take to the streets and governments have been made to listen. Mr Macron has apparently changed his mind about increasing fuel prices in 2019 so the demonstartions appear to have worked.

The previous government under President Hollande introduced a law which made it compulsory for all French motorists to keep florescent yellow waistcoats or "vests," "les gilets jaune," in their cars so that in the event of a breakdown they would be more conspicuous to other road users. How ironic that the protestors have adopted the gilet jaune as their own uniform!

In my little corner of rural France, some drivers leave a rolled up yellow waistcoat on the dashboard of their cars to show their support.

Speaking of Wills, I really need to update my Will. Too many changes have occurred and Iíve been a little lacks in this regard.

I have a few days of rain in the forecast. Heavy rain today. Iím going to take this time to make an overhead foam cutter and a mini cutter for my foam airplane build. I also have to move some dry firewood from the barn to the house. I have about a 2 day dry firewood supply by the house now. I never expected this rain. Also never checked for rain yesterday. Oh well!!!

Just finished a Baron I was building for the club secretary. He grew up in Belgium, hence the roundels.

Nice craftsmanship and finishing touches, looks sharp in the clear amber yellow covering. I didn't realise that the fuselage is built up. One could even expose the fuselage from back of wing to front of empennage, to give it an early WW1 antique look. No wonder why they fly so well on less powerful engines, aircraft is very light.

Hello! Ladies and gentlemen!

I have been looking in but not posting, My mind has been elsewhere lately, I have been (reading for the fourth time) the End time series by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins It is a easy read and loaded with information pertaining to the Rapture and events thereafter I find it quite enjoyable and enlightening and I am reading the last few pages of book #12. If you are unfamiliar with the book of revelations, ( I was) this series will fill you in with a lot of action packed doings of just ordinary folk. I mention it because it begins in the cockpit of a 747 with the captain day dreaming about his good looking lead flight attendant, just before the s--- hits the fan. ................. check it out!

Telemaster That baron looks good! it seems to exude Fun and excitement. Well done!

Now let me wish you all a blessed CHRISTmas (notice the emphasis) for he is the reason for this season whether you like or believe it not!

Funny you mention the reading. I found an author, Robert Masello, who mixes fact with Fitction. He takes known people from the past, like Bram Stoker, Robert Louis Stevenson, and such, and creates a work of fiction, based on their lives, mixing in true facts, along with the story. He embellishes a bit, like Bram Stoker did not sail on the Titanic in real life, but a few of the people in the story did. It takes a bit to get into the stories, as it flips between past and present in each chapter, but when the story starts to unfold, it gets hard to put down. The Night Crossing is the one with Bram, and currently reading the Jekyll revelation.

Yes, the same writing method is used in this series, with exceptions, the characters are fictional.
