I just watched the hells angels movie, I agree with skylark flyer "not bad" corney but not bad! I would have preferred more flight scenes and less face mashing though. right up there with old Flash gorden.

I was thinking about heart transplants. I have read that people that received a heart from a musician they became musically inclined. Dose that also apply to airplane nuts.

I think Heaven, like God and the Trinity, is not anything the human mind can really truly fathom. I think Heaven will surpass our wildest expectations and may be different for each person. We have all heard the comments of those who have died but returned to finish what they had yet to do. Their stories are similar but I can't help but feel the wee shown what they were capable of understanding and not the full glory of Heaven. I see it as one of th Mysteries of Faith.

Don't believe what you hear! get the info first hand I recommend the book called The Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. I do. I did the out of body thing "twice" and what I know amounts to looking through a small window from the curb.

What I am sure of I am not afraid to go and did not want to come back.

Donny Been reading that bock for many years and try to follow it, but the foot prints it has left with me are a bit big and some times vary hard to go from one to another, but I keep trying.

Just from what I see and hear every day make me glad I am as old as I am.

But that's just me

Following the book literally isn't possible and it says so. you cannot be perfect and will slip with every breath, if you acknowledge this fact and try in full faith you will do ok.
many are convinced no matter what they do they are doomed, that's a lie.

I am wishing I had enough gumption to get some of this fat off my a__ my blood pressure is on the rise, gotta stop eatting or what ever.

I think this says it best:

Romans 3: 21-26

21But now apart from the law a righteousness of God hath been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction; 23for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; 24being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God; 26for the showing, I say , of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.

HI guys

Yesterday I repaired a busted water pipe (J. Fisher) it was a small one and I caught it early, but when I tried to turn the water off It took almost two hours to find the valve because it was hidden by the cover box being improperly placed when a new meter was installed, I found it just as the water company showed up.

I buried the pipe a good 12 inches deep in clay soil and the dirt clings to the shovel, by the time the pipe was repaired I was so tired I could not get up. I am feeeling my age. covering the hole in won't be as bad.............I hope.

Gentlemen as I age It becomes more apparent that it is time to start paying someone younger/stronger to accomplish things I would normally do for myself, JOE it's true, something you think only needs paint turns out to need replacement/rebuilding it just seems a lot more difficult now.

For the record I am 75+ years young and the soil around here is all black clay as far as you want to go and when wet it is sticky, it doesn't take long before the shovel gets too heavy to handle. If the truth be told if I was more active it would not impact me near as much.

In a few minutes I intend to fill in the hole, I have huge piles of grass and it will be mixed in with the soil so if that area needs more digging the soil won't be so hard.

Wednesday I get my left eye cataracts removed and my vision should be back to 20/20, being able to see clearly with both eyes without a squint will be fantastic.

Donny, I am envious of your eyesight! I have worn thick glasses since I was 6 years old. My first grade teacher is the one who figured out I needed glasses after biting thru her bottom lip in frustration. How the heck I was suppose to be able to read the board from where I was sitting?

Ya OKC I have the same experience. I am extremely nearsighted. When I was in first grade they figured they figured it out. All of a sudden I could see all the little airplanes flying over. When I went to get my 3rd class medical I had to get a letter of demonstrated ability from my instructor. About 10 years ago I was diagnosed with glaucoma and I had some cataracts. So my eye dr did cataract surgery to help treat the glaucoma and replaced my lenses. Before the surgery my focal range was about 4", now it is about rams length. So now I don't use my glasses to use the computer. To day I was sandblasting the engine mount for my Cub I was wearing the googles with out the glasses and the googles are much more effective with out the glasses. When I was a kid I would get lost in a swimming pool I couldn't see good enough to navigate. What was strange I could see under water.
