Default Question on electric motors.

First off, why is there not an electric plane forum? Have I missed it somewhere? OK, now main Question, How does the quality of the turnigy line of motors stack up against E-flite's motors. I know the turnigy's price is about half what E-flites are so are they worth messing with or should I just stick with the e-flite?

Scroll down to "Electric Airplane Universe" here on the Forum. As far as Turnigy motors, I have used them without issue on many planes. They are an excellent buy & hold up well, provided you don't exceed their rated parameters. I also use E-Flite motors without issue.

I guess I need to redo my preferences in the forums. That might help.

E-Flite's motors seem to be conservatively rated, compared to many of the others.
