Default Airborne Cameras banned in Thailand

Thailand is a totalitarian state controlled by a military junta and much different than the USA, but it is sad to see cameras on drones and other RC aircraft being banned here. I hope this does not become an international trend.

I agree. I think maybe there was a chance for us to squeak by using these things until stupidity with them became rampant.

Becomes rampant? Have you been on Utube lately?
With these things being sold at Harbor Freight, Brookstone, Radio Shack... people with no clue are flying them all over the place.
A friend got buzzed by a huge one on a beach in Monterey.
We are going to see some serious repercussions to this actions.
And, as typical of our legislators, the law abiding citizens of this country will be the ones punished, not the law breakers.

Man-0-Man, ain't that the truth? Houston proper is (IMO) well a part of the criminal world. The cops get blasted by the judicial people
every time the police try to do their job and stop or detain the criminals. Very sad. I stay the "L" out of there.

I went camping last summer and a guy was flying one in the campground, at night, right over women and kids and dogs and expensive motorhomes, I was tempted to go talk to him, but whats the point? It would be like trying to reason with a guy shooting his gun in the air on new years eve. Can't fix stupid

That is right. Reading the Thai news report here, there is discussion about banning ALL flying devices, not just the cameras. Still don't see how the ban is possible as selling drones with cameras has become big business.
