New to RC help!!!!
I owned a RTR Nitro RC for a short time and realized that I should have gone with an electric Set up insted simply because of because the plug n play. So I ended up trading for a Traxxas Slash. It's modified (I have no idea with what to be honest) when we traded he said my radio wasn't a 2.4ghz, so I agreed to keep my reciver and radio from the RTR Nitro car. When I get it home to play with it I realize the car isn't responding to the radio like it should. Sometimes it will do what I'm asking it to do and most times it will be uncontrollable. I've messed withr the trim controls on the radio at it got a little better but not a bunch. Its really fast and I'm afraid that I'm going to break something if I don't get it figured out. So is this caused by the radio? Should I get a 2.4 ghz to go with it? What could be causing this issue? Sorry if this is a dumb question but your help is appreciated! Thanks!

A7pha,
I probably wouldn't be of much help to you, however, I know that for the maximum help to be given, most would ask you what is the make and model of the radio you are using, as well as what the make and models of the speed control and servos that you are using.
I hope someone can give you the help you need,
Craig.

Welcome. The forum is divided into multiple departments. Your post should Go into the RC car section. Some of those folks never look at this section. Also you will need to be more specific about the controller radio receivers etc or you wont get much help. Be more specific in the title of the post needs help often gets ignored.
