If the wings are foam and sheeted, it could be a Graupner Cumulus. The Cirrus had ribbed wings and then covered with Monokote or similar film of the time. I could be wrong, but that is my guess. The photo is not real clear

Hi thanks for that I looked up both & the Cumulus had a v tail . Yes its foam wings covered, The fuselage looks like the Cirrus but like said before the Cirrus had built up wings.
I know I used to have a power pod that when on top of it above the wings with a 049 Cox motor.

I think it's a German name from the 70-80's...hmmm...Kurwi?

It was a long time ago, but I am pretty sure the Cumulus did not have a V-tail. I won't say they did not exist, but the ones in my club were vertical. My brother's Cirrus had a Cox .09 on a power pod

Hi

i found both V tail and regular tail Cumulus online. There is a regular tail one at the AMA museum too. But pretty sure yours is indeed a Cumulus. I pitched my Cirrus a year ago. It was just too old. I still do have a Hobie Hawk in box

regards

The manf I was thinking about was Kurwi. The motor pod on top reminded me of mine.

I sent a link to my "gassbag guru" Dr E, I'm pretty sure he'll know. He just picked up a bunch of high end gliders from an estate and it pretty well versed in this stuff.

Yes, I found that online too. The canopy is not what I remember. The one on my Cirrus and Cumulus I remember are like yours. There may have been several versions over the years. Someone will know, but you may also find an old Graupner catalog on line. I have old magazines but I don't think Graupner advertised much in US magazines. If you contact GraupnerGaupner, they may know too

What is the wingspan... It has a high aspect wing... I would think its a scale Fokka glider or a Petrel.
