Finally getting back into the hobby...need some advice!
Hi all,
This is my first post - I am finally getting back into the RC flying hobby after many years away. I flew gas planes back around 1999 for a few years. I have decided to get back in but with electrics. I have compiled a list of items I am purchasing and was hoping I could get some input...does this list seem complete? Anything I am missing, or anything you would change?
First, I am debating between 2 different battery checkers...thoughts?
HiTec Lipo Voltage Checker and Balancer HRC44173
OR
JR BC580 Digital Battery Checker (JRPB04037)
Primary radio:
DX8 Gen 2 DSMX® 8-Channel Transmitter, Mode 2 SPMR8000
Buddy box radio:

I can't help you much with the equipment you have listed, other than to say that the E-Flight Apprentice has very good reviews..
I am sure someone will be able to give you some good advice on your equipment choices, just give it a day or two, as not everyone comes on here everyday!!
I Fly Nitro and Gassers, with a couple of Ultra Micro Electrics..
I can, However be the first to welcome you back to the hobby!!
Craig.

Chorchie,
I see that you have no responses to your inquiry, I suggest that you repost it in the Beginners forum, you will get much better readership there, and probably some of the answers you are looking for!!
Craig!

David I think you have a 'wish list' that includes a LOT....do you have a club nearby to help you? You made some good choices but I don't know the extent of your wallet . Yeah, post your original in the Beginners Forum as more 'Trainers' visit there and they can give their opinion.
