No shelf life as long as the above conditions mentioned are in effect. I have fuel that is 40 years old and it still runs fine.

David I respectfully submit that you made a minor mistake and if you substituted the first 'it' above with the word him and the second 'it' with the word he that perhaps the community might be better served

Ive got 17 gallons of Powermaster 15% nitro that started out as 25 gallons 15 or maybe even close to 20 years ago , and with proper storage every can I open performs just like the last can did . Yea 8 gallons in 15 or 20 years means I fly way more electric than glow these days , but the bright side is that at my age and present rate of (non) usage , I'll never have to buy a gallon of fuel again

I have 9 gallons of Power master in the plastic jugs and 5 gallons in the metal cans. That go back to 2002 when Hobby Crack had a good sale and I jumped on it. I have YS 20-20, 15% and 1 gallon of FAI 0% for break in. Way back in 2003 I used my last gallon of K&B 1000. Now that was good fuel.

As log as they were kept with the lids on they will be fine. If we lived closer I would gladly take them off your hands.

I have been flying 90% "E" power so fuel lasts me a lot longer. Was a time I would go through a gallon each time I went to the field.

Hey Rene ,

Just curious if you've used the old jug of fuel yet , and if so , how did it run ?
