Hello

I am very much interested on this item. View my address for a total price shipped.

Delivery Address in link.

Thanks, Jeffery Locklear

Clicked on the link, asked me to sign in, I didn't.

Web address looks fishy.

Scaming for my password?

Yeap,, that's a phishing scam,, he's trying to grab your log in so he can list something in your name

I had similar problems and asked the Market place Admin how we can block our emails,, But once again it's a Big problem that reported goes unanswered,, typical RCU

Contact our Marketplace Manager John Neff (username JWN) and he will take care of that for you.

Tom,
I didn't ignore your post. You didn't ask a question. You instead posted a screen shot of the scammers website and advised others to be careful. You did a great job with your post and I saw no need to add to it.

You should note that the email did NOT come through our site. It came directly through the scammers server while appearing to have come from us.

I've talked about this with our IT staff and there is unfortunately nothing we can do about this site or those running it.

As always, do not ever post your email address in an ad, comment or forum post. That is how the scammers harvest email addresses to send their messages. We provide tools through the site for members to contact each other.

And, as noted above, if you receive an email that asked for you to login at a site that appears to be legit, please check the URL first. If it is not www.rcuniverse.com then it is not legit and should be avoided.

Uncheck the Receive Friendship Request Email option. The name is confusing but the description below it states this allows or disallows other members to email you through the site.

Again, the scammers did not harvest your email address from our servers.

I believe he did,, I'm guessing he uses his own server/email server to intercept the proxy request RCU sends out

haha,, yes,, very confusing,, especial when it says this right above that
If you want to keep your email address private, do not allow vCard downloads.
Why wouldn't I think I was safe if I had that checked??

Thanks. I turned it off
