What motor?
Ceramic ball bearings in glow engines have a tendancy to shatter once there life is up. Completely ruining your engine. Ask me how I know

Ceramic bearings are good for environments where
metallic bearings would rust or corrode, but not
where there are reciprocating loads.

Sorry can't offer any advice on turbines as I don't run them.
Perhaps a call to Boca Bearings might help?

I'm happy to have helped you . I personally have never used a ceramic bearing because as was said earlier they don't hold up well to the pounding loads a reciprocating engine puts on them , but I have done business with Boca Bearings more times than I can count (all of my glow engines have Boca stainless steel bearings in them) and the company has done right by me every time . The best thing about them is that you don't need to know the size or pedigree of your bearings if your talking glow engines , you can just call them up and say "I need bearings for an OS 90 four stroke" for example and they know the right bearings to fit . In fact , if your turbine is a commercially manufactured unit like a "Jetcat" or "Wren" for example , they may well have the specs for those like they do for the glow engines . Since your doing a turbine that has no reciprocating motion the ceramics should be an excellent choice , just as long as they are rated for the heat they will encounter in the turbine environment .

I wish you the best of luck with your project and remember , pictures are always welcome .

PS , this is my Saito 270 (45 cc) four stroke twin , having it's first test run after I installed a set of Boca Bearings in it .....

Maybe you should be talking to the turbine manufacturer and using their recommendations. Kinda like asking for investment advice in a *****house.

Maybe he already did and got the typical company line of "use our $100 special bearings or else" that most manufacturers will parrot to such questions , and then came here asking folks who may actually have some real advice to offer .
