I'm finally getting the hang of this!
Well, having taken a step I to the world of DLG and up to this point having always been able to rely upon a motor to get me out of trouble I feel that I have made some inroads towards mastering this art.
My launches are pretty good. The glider does not feel under stress as it leaves my hands and I seem to be able catch it too!
I have a long way to go but I think this video shows what can be achieved in a short amount of time.
This is my third flying session. 1st was major crash, 2nd was testing the crash damage/repairs, this is the 3rd:

It happens. Crashing is part of the hobby. I also find it makes you a better flyer and also gives good indication as to how the glider works as you rebuild it.
