Default Share your hangar, R/C caves & decoration tips

I don't see much about people sharing about the R/C caves in this forum so i decided to start a topic to discuss about it, i'm sure somewhere out there someone have cool and inspirational space to place their favorite R/C models. So please do share your cool R/c crib.

Show your Hangar & R/C caves

Hey guys, come in share your Hangar or R/C caves and share some tips how you decorate your space and tell stories about your setup. It might inspired others to do the same and keep the hobby alive and positive. Having a dedicated space, well arrange R/C models and hardware can boost your hobby morale and ambition. Ones happiness always starts at home.

Here are my R/C cave actually almost an R/C house where 60% space already dominated by collection of my models. I have a dedicated workshop to systematicaly store all my R/C stuff, parts inventory and also a living space where my buddy can hangout and enjoy views galleries of R/C photo and scale R/C planes or cars around. My main hangar made from recycled shoes storage deck to store smaller models and also iron stand with wooden broom stick horizontally stacked to create deck to carry heavier planes. Most are EP planes in there, no gas cause our airfield close to public. Only gas R/c cars .

Hangout room usually i put planes with matching furniture color and that includes the picture frame too and some R/C equipment too. I didn't spent much for my cave just recycle used furniture, repaint it and lots of mix matching and arranging to make my cave look clean and pleasant to wonder around. Everytime i return home after hard day at work in the office or came back from R/c airfield i could sit back relax on the sofa, pop a soda, watch library of planes videos or R/c video and engulf in R/C aura around the house. Make me a happy man and manly everyday.

I will post updates on my next cave setup on other room since i need to work on small R/C track backyard and indoor track. If you guys have any R/C cave design and decors ideas keep on sharing and posting your cave so i could get some ideas 'how to' for my home R/C projects and also for community reference.

Cheers.
David.

Yep!! I am most productive after a glass of red wine.

My workshop area is a mess, nothing like the OP's pictures. Mine's actually embarasingly messy in my basement. No pictures of that mess.

My shop is a mess, too. It's a place to get work done. It doesn't have to be pretty. LOL

I don't have a cave, more like a crevice.
I have tunes and a Bud Lite, so I'm good to go.

Love your floor tiling pattern, looks matched with my P-51D "Big Beautiful Doll" nose art. Thanks for sharing NCRC, you have pretty big space to work on some models and lots of serious working tools. Any plans for renovation next year?

Btw here my actual office space in my dept, have hobby stuff to work on during working days.

Reading article.

I published an article about my hangar and other rooms at my website here:
My Hobby cave article link : https://www.supermotoxl.com/designs-...d-have-one-too

Its a long article but atleast i could send message to the community about impotance having a space for this hobby which benefits self development and career diversity. R/C is not only for fun but also promotes future growth and opportunity which helps me where i stand now.

Here is my winter hangar. My garage hangar isn't heated, so I hunker down here when it's cold out.

My shop/man-cave. As for the paint cans, you do what you have to. That's my faithful assistant, Wally, in front of the right side paint can. He says "Hi!"
My computer is in front of the black chair.
I need to clean this place up.

Great R/C cave guys, looks very spacious and serious work tools in there. Thanks for sharing! I see a tiny bar at Major Crunch's cave in the corner.
