Default Perry Ga. swap meet

Southeastern model show coming up fast. The 1000 plus tables are sold out ,so the venders will be there. I always look forward to the swap meet.
So who will be there this year?

I will be there. I've been going every year for the past 6 or 7 years, I think. Looking forward to it. This year for the first time, my wife is going with me. Not sure how that is going to work out. She won't be walking around with me. Her and some others will be at our table. Maybe she can walk next door and catch an animal show if they have one. I think they had llamas and goats and stuff one year. I just hope it isn't cold. Seems like the last few years it's been chilly. I'd like to see some short sleeve weather, if possible.

WGRC is going. We have about 12 tables.
The weather is always hit or miss. Either Cold, Rain or Great. but the people and deals to make or be had are always awesome.

Funny thing about tables, they sell out really quick, I think in about 8 hours. However; in years past there sure have been a bunch of empty tables, esp in the building with the clean bathrooms (the big one).

Where do they have this in Perry ( if it`s the Perry I am thinking of ) I lived there back in the late 60`s out by the Maul Aircraft Plant kinda wonder if that is still there. Got to know the owner fairly well and took me up in a couple of different Maul Aircraft.

Well another one has come and gone. The weather was about as close to perfect as it could be. I wore short sleeves. Not a cloud in the sky. Picked up a lot of small items, got a really smoking deal on a dremel tool, and never came to terms with a guy who had a US 41 brand new and wanted just a little too much for it. No matter. Only 360 days left until the next one.

I would like to see a lot of the stuff that is brought there piled up in a nice neat stack in the parking lot and burned though. I saw things that it was obvious no one was going to buy.

LOL,
Carl that must have been you wanting the US 41. It went unsold at $100. NIB with the cup mount, Spring starter and throttle linkage. I had one fella offer me $50 for it. We brought some stuff that was worthy of the burn pile and to our surprise nearly all of it sold. I had a great time saw some old friends. Looking forward to next year.

Hey Pete, bring it to the Murphreesboro, TN or Harvest, AL swap meets later this month and I'll take it for $80 if you're willing. Otherwise, bring it to Perry next month and we'll haggle some more!

Carl,

Wish you were closer. I will either keep it or sell it here on RCU.
Stay warm,
Pete
