Getting Blind Nuts out
I confess, I made a mistake. I mounted my blind nuts for a fire wall too close together. Any ideas on how to get them out? (They're CA'd in) []

RE: Getting Blind Nuts out
Thread in the bolt and lightly tap the end of the bolt, it should force the blind nut out of the wood and then pull the nut back enough to loosen the bolt. The nut should fall out ........Good luck.

RE: Getting Blind Nuts out
gizmo-rcu has your answer. CA will seldom if ever provide a good bond between wood and metal. A light tap with the hammer will knock it right out. Don't feel you have a corner on that mistake. Been there and done that. That's how I know how to get them out.

This is almost off topic, but for people who do the same thing with epoxy, you can use a hot pencil-tipped soldering iron to heat the nut and gently push it out. (Not that I would ever mount one in the wrong place )
