She need her diamond earrings cleaned so I took them to the local jeweler and guess what, they had baggets while they were their..

Mine is happy to see me go out the door, as long as I take her fishing a least once a week, sure gets in the way of my flying. Just have to do it to keep her happy. Gizmo

My wife thinks I go to the field WAY to much or at least I stay to long when I go. At this point I'd be better off telling her I'm going to a strip club which wouldn't bother her at all.

None, after 23 years she does what she wants and I do what I want. Her hobby is dropping quarters into slot machines and spends hours doing it, my hobby is flying and I spend as much time as my little heart desires doing that. It works out great. That's also why I don't get any grief about how much I spend on my "toys". Come to think of it her hobby has paid for a lot of my toys, What a woman.

My wife is very supportive of my hobby, both when I'm building and when I'm flying. Been that way for 30 years. In fact she has often said, "It's nice to know who your mistress is."

No white lies or even bold faced lies. It is kind of hard to hide it when a 40% plane is missing from the garage.
Cool website though. I almost didn't go to it because I thought it was just for some stand up comic. For those of you who haven't clicked on the link - it is an R/C Comic Strip......and pretty funny too. Nice to see something other than the Micro Henry's (although I love those too.)

Fly4Fun2: Just like me. All I have is a mini-van to put my planes in. It's sort of obvious when I load up my field box, radio box, wings, and fuses. The walls in the garage become pretty bare when I leave for the field. I guess I could build some fake planes to put on the racks, but not sure where I can put the new ones when they aren't in use. BTW: She is ok with me going anyway.

I don't have to lie either when I go flying. My wife encourages me to go. We own and work a business together, so we know that we definately need some relaxation time. My wife knows that flying is my relaxation time, also building does to. Only thing she asks is that I check with her before I write a check at the LHS (she needs to make sure there is enough $$$ to cover the check).

Same here....No need to lie. My wife usually tells me to go flying at least once a week. She does get alittle mad when I dont tell her Im buying a new plane. I found this out last week when Grayhound called to let me know that my newwest plane arrived to be picked up. When I told her, she got real quiet and hasn't talked to me since. Guess I get the lump of cole for Christmas this year.
She does think my hobby is a great one, and tells me to go fly and doest have to tell me twice. The only catch is I have to take one of the kids. So I ussually take my 5 yr. old daughter and she likes to help load & unload the plane and watch everone fly.

Don't lie about going flying, however if I say it will cost about a hundred bucks, she knows me well enough that it means one hundred is half . She always says thats weird guys think the amount they use is usually bigger than what it is. Why do they always bring up anatomy.
