Some time ago in the RCM and Scale Modeler, Plans were offered by Bill Effinger, Can anyone tell me an address where I can still order this plans. I read somewhere that his widow still sells them.

I live in Horizon City and I have never heard of Orbit Electronics here. Now this is not saying I know everything in Horizon City but this is a small town. I will see if I can find out where they are and take a drive past there.

If you order from this company, be prepared to wait a looooong time. I ordered plans. a laser cut short kit and cowling for a 1/3 scale plane. I was told 4 to 6 weeks for wood and cowling. The plans I got were sent pretty quicklyI got them within 10 days of ordering. The laser cut wood kit took 4 months with broken promises and weak excuses.
After 7 months of waiting, I still don't have the cowling. More broken promises and weak excuses. Supposedly the cowling is by "Precision Fiberglass", in Tennessee. I wish I had known it was going to be this way. I will cut my own parts by hand next time. Sigh.

Some how I missed you post at the time you posted it. Thanks for the information. I will order several of Bill's plans. I have built several of his design and look forward to building more. Been in the hobby since 1948
