I am in Vancouver WA. area and I fly with the Clark County Radio Control Society. Our field is on the Clark County Fair Grounds in Vancouver. There are a number of other fields that I have been to in the Portland area and there are a some real great hobby shops as well. You can go to Tammies Hobbies or Northwest Hobbies in Beaverton or Unlimited Hobbies in Portland and they all have club info posted. Welcome to the Pacific Northwest and give me a shout when you arrive, the coffee is always fresh. Dave

I live close-in east Portland and fly at:
http://www.fpmc.org
I also fly IMAC at:
http://www.molrca.com/index.htm
Both clubs are great. Fern Prairie is very laid back and not competition oriented. Grant Sharp's field is quite active and has a few IMAC and scale rallies each year. There are at least six clubs in the area so he should find one that fits his need.
