Something I saw at the field.
Just got back from the field and one of the guys had a picture of his wife for the pilot. I told him, I thought that was neat. He did say, that's who owns the plane! The way I fly, my wife wouldn't trust her picture in my plane.

Hmmm.....interesting........personally, when I'm at the field, my wife is the last person I want to see!!!

Actually, I take my wife along whenever she wants to go. And when I attend weekend events (such as IMAA, etc), and camping is allowed on site, she almost always comes. Its a nice way to have her along flying, and she can hang out at the motor home if she gets bored. I think it great that while she doesn't participate, she does like being around the environment enough to come along.
Now if I could only teach her how to build and prep the airplanes, I'd be in heaven

When I had custom vinyl done for my Patty Wagstaff I was offered to put my name instead of Patty's. After a little thought I put the wife's name figuring it would be foolhardy to put another womens name on my plane. Now when she shows people my workshop it's the first thing she points out, every now and then I get one right.

There's no one I'd rather be with than my wife. I always miss her if she not with me. BTW, We just celebrated our 25th aniversary!

You could always put a picture of your hand in your plane.

Raptor, if you want to keep flyin' pattern you'd better not get either a wife or girl!

My wife is great about my flying. She does come to the field, but not very often. She likes to be there when we have our Memorial Day and Labor Day activities and our funfly's. A lot of times she brings her car so if she would like to leave early she can. Now, me going to plays, the symphony and other social activities, I don't need a car. I recommend she goes with her friends.

I painted one of the DGA female pilots to resemble my wife. I figure that if the plane went in, it would be her fault and she would need to get me a new one!
By the way BB, thanks for making me get hot coffee in my nose!

BB I guess I'm dumb, I just don't get it. A picture of your hand in the plane? God I just gotta be dense. I guess it goes with being a PA coal hunkie.
