Default If you could only pick one R/C magazine from the newstand,

Magazines that I read often, Model Airplanes News, Fly RC and Flying Models.

For Best Technical Content my pick is Flying Models.I have found consistently good technical articles on each issues of Flying Models. The articles contributed are of good research value.

Anyway, let's share on what are the magazines you read frequently and why do you like it ?

If there's any magazine that I fail to include, just let me know, I will include it in the poll...

I'm pretty disgusted with most magazines now. They read like one continuous advertisement. Just like the silly motorcycle magazines I also read from time-to-time. I'm think I'll try Flying Models next time.

I used to get a model sailplane journal (can't remember the name) that was printed on plain white paper and stapled down the center. I need something like that for scale aerobatics. IMAC has a print news letter, don't they?

I've gotten so tired of the LIES in the "product reviews" of RCM and Flying models... you couldn't pay me to take either. A glowing review of a model that doesn't survive the test flight.. get real. (but wait... the review writer never actually saw the model before writing it... so its OK.)

The rags are all just out to please the advertisers. Tell us the last time you saw a product review that said "DON'T BUY THIS JUNK."

The only mag I subscribe to now is R/C Report as I've let all the rest lapse... I get MA, but that's only because I have no choice...

I totally agree with Dan. I was really impressed with Fly RC and its content. The photograhy alone I think puts it in a class above similar magazines. They have a great publication IMHO.

Hmmm. Here's this little magazine that isn't carried on news stands, it's inexpensive ($19 per year), it's printed on newsprint with black and white pictures and it's leading the voting!

If you don't read R/C Report, aren't you the least bit curious why so many people vote is the best?

FLY-RC is like picking up a catalog of 2-3 page ads. Some of the wording in the reviews is verbatim of the same ads in the magazine as well.

Well -- if truth be told I'd bet you are just a bit prejudiced yourself Jerry! Although I'm not sure just which way your prejudice lies... I miss your column in RCR -- especially now that I don't often read that other mag you write for now...

Hmmm I don't think we get R/C Report up here, (Canada) but by the looks of your votes, I wouldn't mind seeing a copy[:-] So my vote will have to go to M.A.N.
