Default The hardest thing I've ever built.

I have built some tough planes and other
projects. Nothing was as hard as building
this RC website.

Take a minute for a quick visit.
Its worth taking a look.
It will be advertised in all the RC
magazines next month. I think you
will want to visit just to see the RC
feel of the site.

The best part isthat it does not
cost anything to use it.

It was just released yesterday, so even
if you hace visited before, you should
look again.

Why are you doing this for free? Are you relying on advertising alone to repay your investment?

In any case, it looks great, very nice work.

Default Why we are doing this for free

We are RC'ers and love the hobby.

Auctions are the best way to buy and sell things
as proved by Ebay. An item can either be auctioned
to the highest bidder, or a seller can use the auction
like a classified ad by using a reserve price or " Buy
It Now". We used to use ebay a lot until they made
there fees so high that its not fun anymore. We REALLY
don't like Ebay and what they have become. There policies
are horrible to say the least. They will not even help when
someone gets ripped off. There feedback system is completely
unfair, and is used by the bad guys to hurt the good guys.
Try to get Ebay to remove negative feedback that was
improperly left against you. Ha Ha. Try to get Ebay on
the phone when you need help. They don't even have
a published phone number.
Well we made RC Auction to take care of the needs of
the RC community. Only RC stuff is sold on this site,
so your not searching through millions of unrelated items.
We even have our phone # on the site, with people
waiting to help with whatever you need. Well this is why
we are doing this for free, and hopefully the ads will help
with the cost of operation.

Sorry, gettin long winded but you asked.
Come and take a look.

Thanks,
Wayne

I think making websites are fun and can be challenging. For my English class our final is to make a website well, I got mine semi-done but I used tripod which is really easy. I think geocities is better just because of the endless features you have. If you have time check out

Default Very Nice

OK.
I looked and I like it a lot.
I am registering today.
If your policies are what you say, and stay
that way, I will be there for a long time.
I hate ebay.
If you get users and stuff for sale, it will be a winner.

GOOD LUCK

Site looks great and easy to use. I have to go in the barn and see what I have to auction off. I hope you are able to maintain free services. I will spread the word.
