World-Class Aerobatics Pilot Quique Somenzini Joins TEAM RCU.
LONE TREE, CO -- RCUniverse.com announced today that Quique Somenzini joined TEAM RCU as one of its premier corporate-sponsored pilots. Somenzini will fly the RCUniverse.com colors on his aircraft at shows and competitive events. “We are ecstatic to have Quique join TEAM RCU. TEAM RCU was established in October 2003 to connect hobbyists with RC pilots at competitions, local events, and industry trade shows. The Somenzini sponsorship represents the second in a series of planned sponsorships designed by RCUniverse.com to offer greater exposure to professional and amateur pilots in several flight disciplines, including scale, jet and helicopters. TEAM RCU also plans to add radio control car and truck drivers to its sponsor ros ter as well.
Quique was born in Rio Curato, Argentina and has been flying RC since he was 9 year old. Somenzini has won numerous US National and world titles throughout impressive career. We are extremely delighted to have Chip and Quique on Team RCU. These gentleman are 2 of the greatest RC pilots in the "Universe" so to have them onboard Team RCU is very, very exciting.

I guess I'm missing the point... Is Quique going to have a seperate forum as well, and if so, is it mainly going to be a place to discuss whatever products Quique sells like Chip's forum is so far? Don't get me wrong, I think both are great pilots, but so far I mainly see discussions about the Double Vision and Cap in Chips forum, which resembles more of a manufacturers support forum than anything else. Where's the content?

Bill,
Chip's forum has many Q&A with subjects unrelated to his planes. Chip's forum is for all questions whether generic like "how do I setup my 9Z?", "Wing rocking, how to stop it?", "Help with incidence?" as well as any questions pertaining to his products in a support forum capacity.
His forum is not limited to only support of his products although it is no surprise that many of the questions in there are related to his Cap-X and Double Vision. There is an enormous amount of interest and demand for these planes and who better to ask questions about these aircraft then the master himself?
Quique may have a forum here as well but I don't have any firm details or timeframe thus far. We all have been very busy these past few weeks with the planning for upcoming trade shows.

So in Chip's forum you get "How do I program my 9Z???" does that mean Quique's forum would have "How do I program my 10X????"?
And Quique is pronounced Quique. Exactly how it looks.
So uh...what's his RCU name?

Thank you Matt, it looked like it was pronounced kwee kway like the tattooed guy in Moby Dick but that didn't seem right. Now when I meet him out at the Basin I won't embarass myself with a mispronounciation of his name, I'll have to do it another way.
