Heading out to Sierra Vista AZ for work. Looking for good LHS and flying field out there. Will be there 2-3 months.

Thanks

Post this in the Ask Chip Hyde section. I think he lives out there.

Horn: Are you doing duty at Fort Huachuca? If so, you should love that place. I was stationed there several years back and my whole family loved it. The only placed we ever lived where you could ride dirt bikes forever, hike in the mountains, be 90 degrees at the post and still have snow on Huachuca mountain. The post is some 5000 feet above sea level with the mountain behind it at 7500 feet.
I almost forgot, Sierra Vista has a club called Mesquite Modellers and use to fly on a fairly large site north of the main street.
Check the AMA website and AZ for the clubs there and they should be listed.

Yes I will be working on base as contractor. 8 weeks min and likely 12 also may have to head to Yuma briefly. Planing on bringing a radio, charger and couple other items and picking something up out there to fly. Be a hotel nomad for a while.

Thanks for the AMA idea. Sometimes I miss the things rite in front of me.

Horn: If you have to go to Yuma be advised, it is HOT there, I mean hot.
