Default Trains???

I know this isnt exactly on topic but everyone here sounds like a good bunch.

Anyone know of a website like this one except for trains? My Father in law just bought out a old hobby store and in the storeroom there was a little over 1000 train cars, 400-500 building kits, more track than I have ever seen, and as far as Airplanes, Lanier Staudacher kit, numerous giant scale cowls, pilots and stuff.

He hates hobby stuff like this (He likes show Dogs, Dang poodle is worth more than me) so it now resides in my basement.

anyways, this stuff is cloging up my basement in a bad way and I need advice on where to unload it.

Thanks

Big Al

Already thought about that, only down side is having to run over 2000 auctions. That would be a nightmare to manage. But heh, my feedback would go through the roof!

Big Al,

What kind of trains are they? I know someone, who is an officer of the Model Train Collectors of America. I'll mention this to him. If the trains are Marklin or any S gauge, he may be interested in speaking with you. If not, I'm sure he would be able to steer you towards others that may be interested in what you have.

So what if ya gotta run 2000 auctions.
If ya can make money what makes the difference if your managing auctions or stock portfolios.
Take the time... run the auctions.... go to the bank.... take a vacation!!!

Yeah that is what my wife said too. Her and I most likely will be at the Perry GA RC swap meet with everything that is not train related on March 6th so we will see.

Bruno, I will PM you with what the make, scale of the train cars, and scale of the track later this week.

Hopefully this will get me the money to go balls to the wall with airplanes this year. I have really taken a liking to those 1/3 scale pitts and Ultimates.

I appreciate all you guys help!

Very good Al.

I've sunk some money into Marklin HO trains. I keep thinking of selling them off too, and expanding my little air force. But my son would get me for that!

Look forward to hearing from you.
