Whats your five year plan?
What RC stuff do you plan on getting in the next five or so years? Post here.
I plan on getting a hummingbird vII to get the basics of helis. I then plan on building a 4star and a tf nobler. Once I have flown those I might think of getting a TF Spitfire and maybe again a corsair. If I have the money and time in those 5 years I would like to get a giant scale cessna 182 and a 30 sized glow heli.

Last thing in the world I'm going to do is a five year plan. I do too many of those forecasts for business! This is my hobby, where I relax.
What my plans are for the foreseeable future is to scratch build my own airframes. Not plans build but to make my own plans and then build them. Oh yah and to get half as good at building as Caffeen Man.

A five year plan ? Impossible for me .
5 years ago I never would had guessed that I'd be into 1/3 and 1/4 scale
the way I am now.
I'll just go where ever the hobby takes me without a schedule.
Regards

RE: Whats your five year plan?
This is a good question. I just finished a 1/3 Sukhoi and I have an OMP edge on order. I think my 5 year plan will be to build the 42% weeks solution from plans. I have never built from plans before so i'm sure it will take me quite a while to complete. Not to mention the $$$$.

RE: Whats your five year plan?
I only go out as far as a two year plan. And that is:
Quickie 500 pylon racer
A scale WWI biplane
A flying boat of some type
Keeping my current hanger airworthy
Writing a bunch of letters requesting a better selection of kits in the .40 and .60 size range. Any ARF should also be available as a kit - wouldn't you think?

Get out of debt, which means no more airplanes, so I can retire at 40, move to the Bahama's, and live on a three masted barque crewed by Victoria's Secret models.

scott we share the same dream. An for RC I think my plan is more for after I win. Chances are it will take 10 years to get all of this together.

RE: Whats your five year plan?
I plan to get into the larger planes using gas engines, but also have to watch my finances. My son has one year left in college and those expenses are pretty high already. Once he is through, Grad School is mostly his responsibility. Then I will really have the funds to go nuts. (Not to say I'm not already.)

RE: Whats your five year plan?
I just want to be alive in 5 years. I would like to do some big scale gas planes. I would also like to have a nice pattern plane or 2. But at the core I just want to become a better flier.

RE: Whats your five year plan?
5 year plan......isn't that what the Soviets did? Didn't work out so good for them.
Oh what the heck....in five years I would like to have a nice 25 - 30% Extra similiar to what Wild Hare offers, but I will
also need a trailer by then as well.
