Default Toc 2002

Is anyone planning on going to the TOC 2002 in Vegas this October? I have not made reservations yet, but am planning on going.

I thought it would be cool to have an RCU (unofficial or official) get together. We could either meet a the TOC or set up some sort of dinner meeting (or both).

Any thoughts?

Mike

Shortman,

It's about the same drive for me, too. Shouldn't be too bad in October (temp wise, that is). I've never been to any of this type of event, so I figure I'll go out for a couple of days. Probably Friday night, Saturday and leave Sunday.

I hear Joe Nall is even better, but it's just a wee bit farther!

I'll probably have pics if I go, so if you don't make it, you can live vicariously through them.

Mike

PS- Don't tell my girlfriend, but I'm also in the market for a 1/4 scale gasser and I have a feeling there will be plenty for sale there!

Cool. Yeah FYI for anyone who hasn't been to Las Vegas there high temp there was 127 degrees! Yes its so hot I think you could cook an egg on the street. In the winter is the only time you could fly there. Seeing the get no rain

Great idea, Bob! If someone has been there before, and knows the set-up, we can plan a place to meet.

Shortman, don't be rediculous. Cooking an egg on the street? We all know at 127 degrees, it wouldn't even make it out of the shell before poaching itself! LOL

How hot is it there in Oct? I thought July, Aug, Sept were the worst months.

I went in 2000. It was cold enough that even us Canadians were wearing jackets.
