What's your average flights per day.
Just wonderin what the masses will fly on any given day at the field.
Typically I fly 3-4 times (tank fulls) and that's about enough for me.
I don't just mean one plane. I'm talkin total flights per flying session with whatever ya drug to the field.
The most I ever flew was about 8 one day last summer.

One flight each with the slow stik, and Slinger flying wing everyday, unless the wind is too high, then just the wing a couple. On the average day in the flying season, a flight or three with the nitro stuff, a couple with the electrics. On weekend flying get togethers, never counted, but pretty much non-stop all day. 10-12?

Using my average 15 minute flight times;
If I get to go in the evenings 2-3.
If it is an all day session, like a weekend, then probably 6-10...of course on a few occassions there were more.

I'm usually in the 4-6 range, unless I'm training someone. Then it goes up to 6-8. I think the most I've had by myself is 8, which is over two hours in the air.
How many planes do you typically bring to the field? I usually bring two, but sometimes three planes.

Normally I make 4-6 depending on the plane and batteries. My record is 11 when we had a boy scout day and made sure all the scouts had at least 2 flights. I would have had 12, but the plane hit a bird on #11 and that was the end of the day and the plane as well. (Avistar Trainer) Most flights were 10 - 12 minutes with just a little time to re-fuel and start with the next scout.

I go twice a week in the mornings. Retirees day you know! Make about 5 flights and like to watch the other pilots fly or BS with the boys. Then it's off to the Nighthawk bar for lunch. A burger with a thick slice of onion and a Pepsi.
My wife says I spend way too much time with the boys but you won't find a better bunch of people.

I usually always shoot for getting 6 flights in......but sometimes it's more, sometimes less. I definitely spend more time BS'ing then flying.

So far I'm suprised at the results. I expected the teens to be more the norm due to the fact of reading about field chargers etc, all the time.

RE: What's your average flights per day.
People just want to know which is best. Not to use, to know I have a fast charger for events and because I'm too lazy to charge stuff the night before so I throw it on the charger for the trip. My batteries are so big on my bigger stuff I can get 8 flights no problem. On my smaller 3D stuff I have so small of a battery to save weight that 3 flights is pushing it.
I only take one plane to the field. Unless it's an event. Can't fly more than one at a time so why take a bunch?

RE: What's your average flights per day.
I fly about 3-4 flights a day, sometimes six to nine. I've only been flying for one season so the only thing I brought to the field was my trainer, and then it was the UCANDO .46 (I took most of the hardware off the trainer).
I am excited about this year, I got a T-34 Mentor late last year and had a freind maiden it but I haven't flown it yet, I built a Crazy Thing made by Precision Aero that has yet to fly and a GP Mustang that I am currently covering. So next year I can see bringing two or three planes each trip to the field.
