I need some help please...
Does anyone here know anything about the motor in a sawzall? I don't know much about motors or electronics but it sure seems like you guys do, so maybe you could help. What kind of motor is in a sawzall? Where can I get one? Can I find one where I could adjust the stroke? Any info would be a great help. Thanks.

RE: I need some help please...
From the way you phrased your question it sounds as though you misunderstand the inner workings of a sawzall. The motor works just as any electric motor, like in a drill or circular saw. The reciprocating action is achieved through gearing in the tool not direct motor action.
My apologies if I misinterpreted your question.
