Default Please delete this thread (got info from AMA)

I am a new summer resident of Traverse City, MI and am looking for a club to fly at. I have found a glider only field but only brought a .60 four stroke. I know from when I lived in MI year around thet there was a club (TRAMPS I think) but have not been able to make a contact.

I got the information needed from the AMA please delete this thread.

Default Funny you should mention that

There was a report on WWJ on the (don't quote me on the name)
Grand Traverse Areo modelers club and a battle they were having with Leelanau Twsp. board over their flying field.

Seem's some of the nieghboring homeowners weren't too thrilled.

The club won, but with some heavy restrictions.

No Flying on Sundays.

Flying allowed on 4 of the remaining 6 days.

No more than 2 planes in the air at the same time.

There were more but I didn't get to hear them.
