Default Patriot VS. F-20 Tigershark

I have a question about these two planes. As of right now I have a patriot kit in the build but I just had some questions about these two planes. Of these two planes which one of these can reach higher speeds and what kind of options do they offer if a jett 50 is installed. In other words what are there capability's if you were to put one against the other. Thanks!!!

Well we have about 8 in a combination of both here. Patriots and F-20's. I have the F-20 myself. When we get them all up in the air, They are about the same. Jett 50 with 30% nitro and a 9/7apc seems to get the edge. You put that engine in and you will have your hands full.

Your plane is beautiful.. Now they only sell the F-20 in a ARC form? Or can you find a kit version as well.

Well anyways I am putting in a jett 50 in my (after deciding that the jett 90L with a 10x12 prop would be a little bit of an exaggeration) patriot but when I talked to Dennis at Jett he said that it would be fine to use the jett 50 with a 9x8 size prop with 15% nitro and 18% oil and would be the best choice. He said with that setup would push the plane around 130 to 140mph in strait and level flight. But I'm not sure. How fast does your F-20 fly strait and level? She's a bute.... I am looking for speed so your input always helps...

The Jett 50 with a 9/7 or 9/8 apc in Massachusettes altitude will probably bring in around 130-140mph. Were getting 125 here at 5000ft in NM. The kits are still around. I saw one on ebay the other day. You know what is more fun and faster? This Shrike .40size. Although I built it well, I went "Kmart on the rest of it. TT46pro, 9/7apc, Performance spec Muffler and Hitec inside. Darn thing will blow right by my F-20. . Right now I am in the middle of the Cermark 60-90size F-20 with a Jett 90L.

I had a Direct Connection F-20 kit that is a .46 size plane. Sold it for $75. If you get one, you better like to build kits.

I was talking about your F-20. I was wondering were you got it and how fast it goes with your setup...

Does anyone know where to get a F-20 kit
