Default Zurich sunglasses

Hey guys, not really an ARF question but important. I've been reading about the Zurichs and they look good. For you all who use them, what color do you prefer? I'm thinking of the grey/blue combination. We mostly fly in sunny conditions and my 55 yr. old eyes are in need of some TLC. I also shoot bullseye pistol competitively and these bad boys will take a blast from a 12 ga. @ 30 ft. Check Zurichs website and read about the guy who got hit in the eye by a loose glow plug. Something to think about. Bill

I use these and like them ALOT better than Zurich's. Plus it comes with all the colors you need for alot less than 3 pairs of Zurichs.

I love my Zurichs. They are the blue ones. I have had them for years, and when they broke they fixed them for free. Thanks Dave

I think they`re great, I have two pair ( rose and grey ). I can fly right through the sun with the greys. Nitrowoman`s right though, there are other good glasses, and it`s not hard to find some more stylish.

If you are spending $90-$160 on a pair of safety glasses I have some beachfront property in Arizona you may be interested in.

Folks, all modern polycarbonate safety glasses (including Zurich) automatically come 99.9% UV safe; scratch resistant coated; and impact resistant! All the features such as different colors; different frames; fitting over eyeglasses; etc. are standard safety glass fare and modern safety glasses are well under $10 a pair!

I have to disagree. I saw the Zurich Glasses at the toledo show this year, and those other glasses are NOT as good. How much they are worth is up to you. I think the price is pretty high too, but the things were really amazing (And I am NOT easily swayed by a sales pitch)

I for one have used lotsa types of safety glasses ! I also have dont lotsa welding and over the yrs my eyes have gotten sensitive and focus is slowed too..
I bought a pair of the Zurichs to see if they are as good as they say, They are much better than the cheeper stuff out there.. Ive used the cheeper stuff for yrs.
I also wear prescription glasses so the fact that they fit over my prescriptions is a plus..
I guess for me I was given the one set of eyes and I abused them in my early yrs and then was too cheep to buy good stuff and now Im paying for it ..
So try them and see for yourself the others are so cheep get a pair of them also and compair them yourself !
Im not going to say that they are the only ones to buy!! But I will say you get what you pay for!!
