I Am Offically Solo
Today, my instructor said I can fly on my own, which means I can solo. It was after he and some other members talked about it and said I am ready to go on my own. It sure is gratifying. I flew, but I dinged my airplane up a bit. The front part is damaged, but I can repair it. What should be my next airplane? I plan to go electric.

One of the great things about RCU is that you learn how diverse our hobby is.That your instructor would confer with others at the club and that you would even need to be granted the go ahead is foreign to what I am accustomed to. Not saying it's good or bad just quite a bit differant than the way things work where I fly.
Congrats on your new solo status and go buy a World Models T-34, Four Star 40, Ultra Stick or any one of the myriad second plane recomendations you'll find on RCU. Search around under "second plane" and you could get enough recomendations to last untill your eigth plane.

Way to go!, I remembered when I soloed last year, it's a great feeling, my second plane is a Super Sportster 40, and my third and almost completed is a Sig Something Extra. Enjoy the hobby, I really forget about all problems in life when I'm out flying.

DO you have a link to your clubs instruction program?
I am gathering information to introduce this kind of thing at my club.
I have the system for my club in Indiana, but want to do a broader based check.
