Default rc simulator please help..

HI I can truthfully say that my gp2 sim helped me greatly. it saved me alot of time and money.
the stick time alone is worth it. it is as close to the real thing as you can get [nothing can be as good as the real thing LOL]. You will still need some instruction when you fly for real. Believe me been there done that don't work
I only could get a few lessions in do to lack of local flyers.maybe 4-5 enough for at least the basics.
BUT I put in a whole lot of time on the sim got at ease with the sticks, got more confedent Oh i have drove the
trainer in the ground a few. but I know for sure it would have beena whole lot worse [ $$$$$$].
get the sim you won"t go wrong.
Good Luck- PrOp-WaSh

Prop wash is right on with reply. I can speak from experience. I spent many hours on the GP sim. and can say I learned to fly by doing just that. I was around guys that were flying, but what I learned on the flight sim really taught me how to fly. And it did take many hours through the winter and finally in Aug. of that year got up enough courage to start up my Hobbystar 60 and try it. I had some rough landings until I flew a lot of times and crashed a couple times (nothing to serious but still required some repairs). One of the best things the sim can teach is which direction to move the sticks in any attitude the plane is from you whether on the ground or in the air. Perhaps the best plane on the sim is the Spacewalker as it flies so well. I liked it so much I went out and bought an arf and still fly it now.

So in conclusion all I can say is sit down in front of your computer and fly with that sim until you wear it out. But, after you do it is still a pretty good idea to get with a buddy on the buddy system of your radio, If nothing else it will give you some confidence when yuou do start to fly on your own.

Good luck with your flying

Default rc simulator please help..

I highly recomend getting a simulator I live in the Northeast so there is a definet line between building and flying season (unless you use skis) so when I was learning how to fly I got on the sim about every day during the winter and it helped me so much when spring came around i wasn't rusty at all and flew the sticks like i had all winter i also soloed about a week after that. It is very similar to the real thing but it would be difficult to actually learn to fly on it. If you dont want to spend all that money on g2 get g2 lite it is the same simulator without all the bells and whistles but is much cheaper.

The sim is a great tool and in some cases can teach you to fly. I would recomend it with the following
warning. You still need to start with a slow high wing trainer and a teacher if possible. In a lot of ways the sim is easyer to fly. Plus your first plane needs to be looked over inside and out and trimed by a seasoned
flyer. good luck later daveo
