Default Name that plane for a prize

I think this'll be a stumper. Name this plane (brand and model) and you'll win a prize from the bag-o-stuff (my spare parts drawer). Just havin' a little fun...

Well it has to be a drone because there's no pilot in it.

Pilots are too moody. I long for the days of the flying cyclons...

Hmmmm well it almost looks like a scratch built from your plans. Is that a P51 canopy and a cub cowl? I might be way off here but then again maybe not.

Believe it or not it is a kit from a fairly well known manufacturer. No mods (other than structural). It was finished this week.

I had the kit for sale, but no takers, so I built it.

I don't know if it's a Goldberg or not, but it sure looks like a Chipmunk.

Whatever it is, I think I"m going to use that color scheme on my next plane. I like it.

Yeah, Mike, I liked it too... until my wife said it looked like a high school football uniform! The underside is blue and silver for contrast.

BTW, not a Goldberg (or a chipmunk). It's close to a MT Magic, except that it has a cowl, canopy, low wing, shorter landing gear, tailwheel,
non-stick fuselage, tapered wing..........

I didn't think it looked anything like a magic unless there is another magic I'm not familier with. That long tail moment gives it a pattern look rather than a funfly 3D type of plane. I'm going to have to study on this one for a bit.

A total shot in the dark but it really looks like a Global Raven 60. It's a little hard to tell though. Nice plane

Not a Raven, but I like your thinking....

BTW, it's 40 size, 59.5" wing, 4.8lbs (and, yes, it's the first time I came in underweight).

I was thinking Cap to but, the cowl threw me off. He does mention the size and weight.

It doesn't have a cap tail and after I looked at a chipmunk today, I can see that it's not one of those either. Four stars don't have a tapered wing. Also, the canopy is too far fwd to be a cap, I think. Wrong cowl for a Cap too. Just my observations you understand. I know what it's not but that's not what he wants. :stupid:

First flights today. Flys like a G-202. Tracks good, spins and snaps great. Lot of fun in a cheap old kit.

I'll end the madness in a couple of days if no one figures it out. BTW, I've got another NIB.
