Here is a Frequency board some of you may like to copy. Simple "cloths-pin" method. You want to fly, just put a clothes pin on the freq and its yours. Most people have designer pins with their names, AMA#'s and half a million other things but it's simple and very effective. "Fast Signs" put it together for me.

It wouldn't work for our club unless we changed our name to "Albuquerque Radio Control Club" and I don't think the members would go for that.

Zagnut, you always make me laugh

Anywho, it's one of those things where... If someone wants to fly or be a dick, they could move your pin off a number. We got the same basic idea, but each pin has a number so if you got the pin it's your channel. Sure you can still have issues where people aren't getting a pin, but we're a small club and rarely over 7 people at the field at a time anyway.

Yeh, that can happen but I have never seen it occur here. We do not put up with any crap from anybody, You don't fly by the basic rules, we simply call the Open Space Police and throw you out. Thats the way it is. Anybody does not want to put their radio in the impound area? Again, your gone. Those who get thrown out rarely if ever come back.

You turn your radio on and kill a plane? Again, police are called and it will cost you. Thats the way it is and those who don't care, well we don't either and were not going to have a 30 minute conversation over it, we just call the police and keep on flying.

Wouldn't work for our club either, nobody can read. The pretty colors are nice and would work. Right now, since Floyed offered to the club his lifelong collection, we just thought of taping to the clothespin pictures of old Playboy Playmates with thier birthdates corresponding with the frequency.
IE: Bambi, appeared in the August 1978 issue and is now age 44, well, she's channel 44. Or Donna from the December 1990 issue, well, she's channel 32. Believe it or not, we had no problem finding members to help build a new frequency board.
