Default Aerobatic plane question

I've have a H9 73" Cap 232 that I've had for a while and have never gotten it put together to fly. I'm just about ready to put it together but I've been told by some of the guys that I fly with that it's a pretty hard plane to fly and that I might want to consider just selling it and replacing it with something like a H9 Funtana 90.
Does anyone here have any info about the Cap regarding bad flying habits?
Does anyone have any insight as far as which might be the better way to go?

I'm only answering this cause you DIDN'T say "acrobatic"....

After I did a SEARCH and came up with at least THREE threads on this model:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_47.../tm.htm#472342

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_59.../tm.htm#598969

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_13...tm.htm#1379098

and besides we are not a bunch of psychics who telepathically know your flying ability so how can we say if it is a good plane for you?

Aren't you glad I decided to answer?

Default RE: Aerobatic plane question

My question had made no reference to my own flying abilities or whether this was a good plane for me because my question wasn't if I could fly the plane but rather if the plane had any bad flight characteristics in comparison to many of the newer kits such as the Funtana 90.

But thank you for using the SEARCH and finding the THREE threads for me. I'm so sorry to have wasted your time.

Now I remember what I like so much about this site.

A friend has one of those and it flies great, If you get too slow it will drop a wing real fast so you need to keep the speed up a bit and boy does it snap roll fast. Real aerobatic and a great flyer.

It is not a hard plane to fly at all.
Keep your max throws to the minimum recommended and you will be just fine

RTN,
I guess I was a little pissy with you but your question left out some pertinent info like your flying experiance. The tone of my post was a bit over the top.

I didn't include any info about my flying experience on purpose. How well I can fly doesn't really have much to do with the question. If one particular airplane doesn't fly as well or is much harder to keep under control than another airplane, I'm not going to get nearly as much enjoyment out of the one that's more difficult to fly. Can I fly either plane? Sure. Do I want to fly the one that doesn't offer any enjoyment? Not really.
From what everyone is saying, the Cap sounds like it should be a real nice flying plane.

I've flown O.P. Cap several times and enjoyed it. It's quite acrosynchronous [X(]

Not too hard to fly, but in defense of BB (not that he needs it), this would not be a good second plane to fly IMHO- I, too, didn't understand your frame of reference.

acrosynchronous
Shouldn't that be "aerosynchronous"?

Weren't Acrosynchronous and Aerosynchronous cousins to Daedalus and Ikarus? Or maybe Greek philosophers?
