Default Flying fields in the Daytona, Florida area

I will be in Daytona for the first 2 weeks in September. Are there any flying fields in that area ? If there are, are there any restrictions on them (i.e. Electric only).

Thanks

The only field that I know of that is close is the one in Deland, Fl. It is behind the airport off of Marsh Rd. I think you take 92 to Deland and it is before you get to the airport.

If you are going down as far as Sanford, I can tell you about two more fields

I am not sure where Sanford is in relation to Daytona. I sent an e-mail to the VP of the of the club/field in Deland. I should hear back shortly. The field in Deland sounds good - relatively close to where we will be staying.

Let the AMA membership help you out.

The Deland field is nice. It is an old runway that is in good repair.

Thanks. It never dawned on me to check the AMA listings.
