RE: Vegas hobby shop
Try Nice Twice, Wynn Road and I believe it's Desert Inn, west of I5 (I don't think there is an exit from I5 to Desert Inn, Desert Inn is about 1/2 mile north of Spring Mountain, that does have an exit). Turn north on Wynn and it's about 100 yards back, in a good size shopping area. The address listed on the website mentioned is accurate, but it's hell and gone from Valley View. The business area is so large they have buildings spread out over two or three blocks, all with a Valley View address. It's actually on Wynn. It's a good "wander around" type of place. Mostly planes, some cars and a little Heli stuff. He'll match mail order prices.
Edit for clarification, duh!

As Jim mentioned above Twice Nice is like no other hobby store and definately a 'Hobby Tourist Attraction'. A trip to Las Vegas is like visiting hollywood without having a hotdog at 'Pinkys legendary hot dog stand'.
As far removed from a bubble pack chain store as you can possibly imagine. Dusty, dirty jam packed with new and old a lot of wheelin and dealing just like a trip to TJ, Mexico. Don,t miss it.

I'm coming out for the Hobby Visions Show so I guess I'll have to go have a hotdog at Twice Nice.

Well OK, Its been ten years since I escaped the Basin (LA, not Apollo field) and I loose more brain cells each year. Butcha gotta admit those are not 'Bubble Packed Dogs'. Now gotta go run up to Vegas someone told me he had a green box Nobler buried under a pile of other stuff.
