Flying fields near Gateshead U.K.?
Can anyone out there tell me if there are any RC flying fields near Gateshead? I have a bit of time on my hands during some business travel, and I would like to see what the Brit's are up to.

Gateshead huh? Let me know what you find out... I was born there and still have enough relatives in that part of the world to be able to make bail if I have to! I end up being back there every 3-4 years, but haven't ever been able to devote the time to finding any RC fields... too much visiting with cousin ###### and aunt ****** !

I used to live about 30 mins away from gateshead. I travel home twice a year and never get time to fly when i am home, my wife always wants me to goto the metro centre so she can spend all my money[&o] but if that makes her happy and i get to buy planes then i guess it is worth it

Well, I just returned from the Team Valley, and unfortunately, I did not get the time to visit the local field or the Metro center. I'll try to get to the local field on my next trip over.
