RE: What's your flying Weather?
Whenever there is a clear day, especially in the winter, it is windy. I hate it when it happens. Ruins a perfect day. [>:] Makes me wish to build a giant concrete wall at the field to block the wind. It would be an eyesore though.

It's supposed to be sunny and in the 70's tomorrow and the best part is that I don't have to work I have 2 planes charging and ready to fly in the morining. You have to love Florida in December!

Would have been a nice day to fly here today. A bit windy but temps in the upper 50s. Stuck at work of course. Rest of the week isn't looking good at all here in central Ga. Wish all that Arctic air would stay in the Arctic !

Today it was 35 degrees C and later in the week its forcasted to get to 38 (thats 100 F). Problem being almost every day we get a seabreeze of up to 30 MPH.

Well here in north Iowa its colder then a Well diggers @$$ . We finally got 3 inches of snow 2 days ago and until it warms up to about 40 degrees witch will be around April, I wont do any flying.
We've been getting sub zero temps for a bout two weeks. First it was the 60 mph winds out of the northwest , now the snow. Looks like its time to hybernate in the shop.

For an area that gets snow only a couple times a year and some years no snow at all, I have four inches of snow on the ground and it is still falling!
It was cold last week and I went to the park to fly my plane for a while. After five minutes, my hands were numb and I had left my gloves at the house.[:@] There was someone who stopped to watch me fly my little GWS stearman and I had to leave early and disappoint them. They stayed until I finally shut the drivers door on the van and started the motor. Then they left.[] They got to see it fly a little while and see a perfect landing, which I do not do well when some is watching.
23deg's right now.[8D]

Well, it was 60 here today with about 10 mph winds. I was out flying in a t-shirt[8D] It's gotta get cold sooner or later, right? Damn global warming

Well, we don't expect to get much above 20 degrees today. Not much snow, only a dusting here, but I know more fell just to the east of us. Wouldn't you know it, I get today and tomorrow off, and it's too cold to fly. Yeah, I know some fly in this temperature, but I have lived in Chicago, Detroit, and Minneapolis, and figure I have served my time. I am a fair weather flyer, and am willing to admit it.
